Documentary exploring the making of Nas' 1994 groundbreaking debut album Illmatic that follows the artist as he returns to his childhood home to share stories of his upbringing and influences and tracks the thrilling evolution from his life as a young street poet to a visionary MC. Features interviews with his musical peers, including Pharrell Williams and Alicia Keys and the "Illmatic" producers.
