Last night, I had the priveledge of seeing NAS in Koln Germany. I expected the concert line to be around the block early. The venue was scheduled to start at 6pm, so I arrived at 330 to get in line. To my surprise the only people there were myself, the girlfriend and the workers. lol. So we spent nearly 3 hours as wanderers in a city nearly 100 miles away from where I stay. Little by little more people came then the line got enormous. Once we got in I got my Queensbridge Life is Good tee and hat. It just had a N, not the one by Sneaktip. The had Djs from France warming up the crowd. Playing classic hiphop. I never knew hiphop was that big here. Especially in the times of "SWAG" lol. But it was a pleasure to see. After the Live Band (Z and the Band) took there place. Then BOOM! After a great intro of live instruments, NAS took the stage and opened with HIP HOP IS DEAD. The crowd went nuts and so did I. The concert by far has to be one of the most valued moments of life. Not because I'm a NAS influenced lyricist, Not because I'm a NAS influenced poet. But because it was so powerful to see people who either dont know English or have it as a second language singing along with everything from the old to the NEW. Great experience I recommend everyone should attend no matter when and how.
